And by "scrappy" I actually don't mean anything to do with scrapbooking this time! I always save all my little fabric scraps and sew them into crazy little blocks. Always with the good intention of making them into quilts...someday. Someday rarely comes, so I turned eight of them into this cute totebag today. She'll be just right for magazines and books on car trips!
I have this beautiful book, and must recommend it if you love quilting at all. Denyse Schmidt has gorgeous, contemporary flair with this old-time craft. Might use some of my other blocks on the projects in this book. She makes it so enjoyable and EASY. Everyone who likes piecing papers together should enjoy giving this a try too.
